- Refrain from installing hyperlinks to this site without our prior written consent.
- Accept responsibility for any damage caused by a breach of these conditions.
Availability of Service
We ship to the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the Americas, and selected countries in Asia and Oceania. Available destinations are shown at checkout. We do not ship to restricted regions, including Russia and North Korea.
Orders and Contract
To make a purchase:
- Follow the checkout steps and confirm payment.
- You will receive an Order Confirmation email.
- The purchase contract becomes binding once you receive the Shipping Confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion. In such cases you will receive a full refund if your payment has already been processed.
By placing an order, you confirm that all information is accurate and that your payment method is valid and funded.
Pricing
All prices are listed in EUR (€), VAT included. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and shown before payment. Prices may change, but confirmed orders are not affected.
Production and Shipping
Every LAÍS piece is cast, filed and polished by hand in our Barcelona studio for the person who ordered it. Orders arrive within 5–10 business days. Bespoke and bridal commissions are quoted individually and take longer; the timeframe is agreed with you before production begins.
A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your parcel leaves the studio.
Please note:
- Orders placed after 10:00 CET are processed the next business day.
- We do not ship on weekends or Spanish public holidays.
- Peak seasons, customs clearance and carrier delays may extend delivery times.
Full details are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Customs, Duties and Import VAT
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import VAT, customs duties and a carrier clearance fee on arrival. These charges are payable by the recipient, are determined by the destination country, and are not included in the price paid at checkout.
Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Under Spanish and EU consumer law you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of delivery, without giving a reason. We voluntarily extend this period to 15 calendar days.
- Pieces must be unworn and returned in their original packaging.
- Return postage is at your own expense, for both returns and exchanges. We recommend a tracked service; until the piece reaches us it remains your responsibility.
- On withdrawal we refund the purchase price and the original standard delivery cost, to your original payment method, within 10 business days of receiving and checking the piece.
- Returns are sent to: LAÍS JEWELRY, Roser 93, 3-1, 08004 Barcelona, Spain.
- To start a return or exchange, email info@laisjewelry.com.
Exchanges
For your first exchange on an order, you send the piece back at your own cost and we cover the cost of sending the new piece out to you. If the replacement costs more, you pay the difference; if it costs less, we refund it. For any further exchange on the same order, postage in both directions is at your expense.
Store Credit
As an alternative to a refund, you may request store credit with an additional 10% of the returned value, valid for 12 months.
Model Withdrawal Form
You may use the following wording to exercise your right of withdrawal, though you are not required to:
To LAÍS JEWELRY, Roser 93, 3-1, 08004 Barcelona, Spain — info@laisjewelry.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods [description], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. Name of consumer: ______. Address of consumer: ______. Date: ______.
Customised and Bespoke Products
Bridal pieces, engraved pieces and rings made in a custom size are produced to your specification and are excluded from the right of withdrawal under Art. 103(c) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. If a bespoke piece does not fit, we will resize it, remake it, or issue store credit — please contact us.
This exclusion does not apply to standard catalogue pieces ordered in one of our published sizes.
Handmade Variation
Every piece is finished by hand. Small variations in surface, form and polish are intentional and make each piece its own. They are not a defect and are not grounds for a warranty claim.
Product Availability
If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will notify you and refund the full amount paid.
Warranties
All products sold on laisjewelry.com are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Spanish and EU law:
- Three years from delivery against lack of conformity, in accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 as amended by Royal Decree-Law 7/2021.
- Repair or replacement where appropriate; refund where repair or replacement is not possible.
- If a piece arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, we cover all shipping costs in both directions.
To make a claim, email us with photographs and a description of the issue.
